Proyect: "no matter his rank."

Exactly. It didn't matter to you in the slightest that he was a member of
_management_ and that I was a wage-earner and trade union member. Class
doesn't matter in his scheme of things. Unions don't matter to him. All
that mattered to him is that he was pissed-off at me (for not always
agreeing with his holyness) and, therefore, he felt justified in doing
_anything_ to silence me. Little wonder he has been compared to Stalin.

Proyect: "violating his privacy."

You still don't get it, do you? Randy didn't tell me about the _Social
Text_ affair. Someone else did.

And, yes, it _is_ "a labor issue."

When someone attempts to put pressure on *management* (an appeal to the
manager as a friend) to have a *union member* disciplined, that _is_ a
labor issue.

Proyect: "what's the point?"

The point is that you have no principles.
