C.B., look, "in common" is a property-related term.  Yes, it means that
the thing, instead of being owned by one individual, is owned by a bunch
of people, in common.  Isn't the whole point of the "wives in common"
discourse to suggest that marriage _is_ a form of ownership of people
by other people?  Isn't that Marx and Engels' point?

Intead of talking about "men in common", "women in common", "multiple good
friends" and all that, why not just say that any person should have sex
with whatever and however many willing partners he/she wants to, and this
is nobody else's business?
