It is in such an irresponsible fashion. It's a classic bit of publicist's
reasoning - find the most objectionable proponent of a particular point of
view, and then tar everyone else with that bad reputation. In this case,
the mission is to make all environmentalists look like bomb-mailing
sociopaths. It's Ron's whole M.O. in fact. The mainstream environmental
organizations are elitist, misanthropic, and Malthusian (all undeniable
facts) therefore all environmentalists are elitists, misanthropes, and
Malthusians. That's good PR, but lousy journalism.
