Yes, we need to be concerned, but this concern must not be descend into
hysteria and sermonising. We need a rational approach, not  an ill-digested
mix of doom-mongering, scapegoating and guano-politics.

BTW enjoyed your piece on Zen. Always thought that if someone threatened me
with the stake if I didn't choose a religion, I'd choose Zen. Now I'm
chancing my arm here, but of all the world's religions it's got to be the
most compatable with Marx: and Lenin's 'neither either or but and' has a
certain Zen ring to it after all.
