Subject: new list members, about rules


Hello 

It surely seems that Juan Inigo woke up the moment his name had been 
taken up on the list: he tried to "zubscribe", and I will do it. 

Secondly, no voices has been raised against Michael's candidates Mark 
Armstrong, Sol Picciotto, and Bob Fine. I guess we all agree that 
Michael can ask them whether they're interested in joining the list. 
If they do, I'll sub them. 

Thirdly, Steve mentioned the problem of flame wars. Rightly so, this 
list ain't intended for that kind of waste of bandwidth. I'll do my 
best that the list won't turn out to be a sewer. 

There haven't been so far any strict rules for this list. Hopefully 
we don't ever need them. But I intend to stick to this one: insults 
and other "bad behaviour" will result in a warning, and next "bad 
behaviour" will have the effect that I expunge person's name from the 
list of subscribers. Hope that's ok with all of you.
