Subject: Marxism-News in moving to Utah

From: Hans Ehrbar <ehrbar-AT-keynes.econ.utah.edu>

For your information, this is what I just sent
to marxism-news. Marxism-news has moved.
Malgosia, you do not have to do anything technically,
I will continue to get the approval requests from
jefferson and I will send them on to utah instead
of jefferson.

Here is the text I just sent:

Since the spoon collective is no longer continuing its
support of the marxism lists, the list marxism-news
has moved to Utah, to a collectively managed cluster of
marxism lists. Marxism-thaxis and marxism-intro will join
us here, plus perhaps some other existing lists.

This Utah site is run from a PC running Linux, and it is
hoped that this will be the first of a world wide
co-operative network of workstations run and controlled by
Marxists.

This is the last message sent to you through
jefferson.village. Your address has been transferred to
Utah, and from now on you will receive mailings only from
Utah. From now on please send your submissions to

marxism-news-AT-lists.econ.utah.edu

and subscription requests as well as other administrative
commands to

majordomo-AT-lists.econ.utah.edu

For instance for a listing of all subscribers send a message
consisting of the line

who marxism-news

to majordomo.

The mail addresses at Jefferson will remain available for
a while, but all the mail will be forwarded to Utah.

At the Utah site we are also setting up a list

marxism-ezines

which will carry articles from marxist
publications and web-pages, and the list

marxism-news-rejects

which documents all those submissions to
marxism-news which were not accepted by the moderators.

Finally we will soon have a list here about socialist
economics, with Allin Cottrell, who wrote "Towards a New
Socialism" together with Paul Cockshott, as one of the
moderators.

Subscriptions to all these lists are accepted at this time.

Send the message

subscribe <listname>

to majordomo-AT-lists.econ.utah.edu

where <listname> is the list you want to subscribe to.
For instance

subscribe socialism
