Subject: RE: theses on marx


In reference to JB Murray's comment that marx was probably right about
economics and wrong about everything else is a curious misapprehension about
what Marx was up to with economics.  Marx's economics was, or was supposed to
be, a philosophy.  The idea that one could develop corrrect economicas
systems within an otherwise flawed philosophic system is the bourgeois 
seperation of economics, philosophy, sociology etc. that Marx was trying
to overcome.  Not that he was either right about everything or wrong about
everything but that mistakes inone area are probably going o manifest themselves
repeatedly.
