On zerowork:

The "pen-l" list has been conducting a similar debate recently (though 
more centered around the question as to how socialists should view 
productivity and its increase--as an unmitigated good, a mitigated one, 
or whatever).

Unfortunately, I haven't been saving those posts.  I wonder if anyone has 
who could re-post or summarize.
