Subject: A technical question

How does one distinguish the adjectives 'Maxist' from 'Marxian'? My most
recent text, Jameson's POLITICAL UNCONSCIOUS, employs both terms.
As for an introduction, I am a PhD pre-candidate at Michigan.
Marxism plays a crucial role is my work with New Historicist methodology,
although my sympathies are more anarchist.

"What is equality?"	"It is a hierarchy like any other."
"What is reason?"	"A cloud eaten by the moon."
"What is suicide?"	"Several deafening chimes."
"Why go on living?"	"Because at prison only the keys sing."
