RED FEMINISM

CALL FOR PAPERS FOR A PROPOSED SESSION FOR MLA CONVENTION IN
DECEMBER 1995--CHICAGO

In the name of "materialist feminism," a generalized "left" bourgeois
feminism has--over the last decade--marginalized historical materialism
and its world-historical analysis of the situation of women under
capitalism. This is a session for boundary Marxist work in feminist
theory and practice AFTER (Post)structualism and New Historicism. Send
proposals on any aspect of Marxist theory of gender and sexuality and
questions of labor and capital to Teresa L. Ebert by March 10, 1995.
