Some passages of interest on this thread: 
	"The identity of production and consumption amounts to Spinoza's
proposition: Determinatio est negatio."  GERMAN ID., 131
	[almost exact same passage in GRUNDRISSE, 90]
	"Vulgar economics... relies here as elsewhere on the mere semblance
as opposed to the law which regulates and determines the phenomena.  In
antithesis to Spinoza, it believes that 'ignorance is a sufficient
reason'." CAPITAL, I, 422 (Penguin ed)
	Also a long footnote on determinatio again, this time against
Mill's strange negative contraries (744)
