Subject: Open Polemic


An excellent project has been going on in the UK
to try to create some genuine discussion amongst the
34(!) groups that claim the mantle of the revolutionary
vanguard in the UK. The Open Polemic magazine has 
assembled the the rival arguements of these groups 
on key topics such as the USSR, the dictatorship
of the proletariate, democratic centralism etc etc.
Although some of the material is dire some is excellent,
particularly from Red Action and the Workers Party
of Scotland. In a time of theoretical chaos the journal
is valuable...a historical docvument if nothing more.
