There is very little one can deduce from an internet address or email .signature. I continue to be astonished by how much people read into these little designations like .edu or .com... Recently I've been especially suprised at how allegations or assumptions about age have become an issue. I guess some think that anyone with an .edu address must be 18. But so if they were? I don't just want grumpy old men in *my* revolution. Think of the music we'd have to listen to (oh, here goes Joan Baez again...) or the hideous nature of post-revolutionary clothing [insert cute cyber-smiley here] I wasn't alive during the Cuban revolution, nor for many other events of the Twentieth century. While I appreciate the recollections and opinions of those who have lived through or seen such events, I don't think this relative lack of experience damns me a priori from discussion. And I think it's a little silly for people to have to produce their radical or organizational CVs or resumes before they feel able to speak. As Louis said to Han, all opinions and positions are up for grabs on this list, but I think they should be contested as opinions, not as the one-dimensional expression of a projected life and a fantasized personality.
