Was there any discussion at the "New Visions for American Labor" meeting 
about the need to break with the Democratic Party and form a Labor Party? 
If so, who said what?  You wrote that the "New Visions" slate is in favor 
of "political independence" but I'm not quite sure what that means in the 
specific context of what political candidates they might support.

Time for me to leave my computer and armchair and go back into the street.
