Jim's comments about the superiority of the list to "isolated
polemics" are probably motivated by my recent statement declining
to pursue a discussion with Rakesh because of previous
experiences with such debates, so I'd better say that I agree with
Jim that, whatever its flaws, the list is infinitely better than
the isolation which preceded it.

Of course, I'd like to go beyond "just" face and present OHPs, etc.!
But as for chat, it's a great idea when I'm awake and you are too,
but not so hot when it's 3am here and 2pm in your part of the world.
