I agree. 

I used it exceptionally in the course of my tactless or at 
least risky post about a sample moderating panel, to highlight
the idea of having a wide range of stakeholders, including those
with who some might disagree strongly.

Despite, and perhaps because, I would disagree with you, Scott, 
on some important questions strongly, eg Yugoslavia, and despite the 
fact that we may rub each other the wrong way at times, that does not 
stop me enjoying your humour and your distinctive contributions on which
I often feel on the same side as you. (That's not deadpan, that's
straight). For all these reasons you are a distinctive and valued member
of this list for me.
