But the modern theory of evolution is not exactly the same as the theory that Darwin put forth. Evolution is a growing scientific endevour that has had many contributors since Darwin, some more correct than others. Likewise in the field of science that attempts to understand history and revolution. The last great contribution to this field came from Leon Trotsky with his theory of uneven development. In a nutshell it states that economies, industries, nations, history, whatever(actually all phenomenae) develop at different rates and according to local conditions. Revolution does not happen everywhere at once, so it is possible that revolution can occur in one geographic location, or one industry, in advance of what may become a general condition. I suspect that if you are still "young" you will see revolution in your lifetime.
