Subject: Fascism cyberseminar - attn. Louis!

Louis,

I've decided on the texts that I will report on for the cyberseminar.
Unfortunately will have to leave Balibar until I have more time, will focus
on Poulantzas (and Buci-Glucksmann):

Nicos Poulantzas, _Fascism and Dictatorship_, NLB, London, 1974.

Nicos Poulantzas, _State, Power, Socialism_, NLB, London, 1978.

Will also consider specific criticisms by Buci-Glucksmann of Poulantzas's
_Fascism and Dictatorship_ and whether these have been (implicitly) replied
to in _State, Power, Socialism_. Seems as though this will be most
productive for our purposes. I only wish I could read French, as two
volumes on fascism edited by Buci-Glucksmann were published in the 1970s,
which included a later paper on fascism by Poulantzas. Has anyone on the
list read these texts and can tell us about them?
