Date: Tue, 21 Nov 1995 13:10:12 -0600 (CST) From: Chegitz Guevara <mluziett-AT-shrike.depaul.edu> Subject: Lenin and Market Socialism Lenin was not a market socialist. He was a communist. Market socialists advocate a permanent role for the market. Communists advocate the continuation of the market after the revolution as a necessary evil, to be whithered away as quickly as possible (execpt for ultra-leftists who advocate the complete dismantling of capitalism on day two of the revolution). Marc, "the Chegitz," Luzietti http://shrike.depaul.edu/~mluziett I'm not anti-society, society's anti-me I'm not anti-religion, religion's anti-me I'm not anti-tradition, tradition's anti-me I'm not anti-anything, I just want to be free.
