please tell us about this book.  Was was gadamer's role during the
Nazi period?  I saw him here once on the Washington area.
Everyone was fawning all over him like he was a God, but I thought
he was a
 senile old fart.  Who says he is germany 's greatest philosopher
and why?  Did he empty Heidegger's bedpan?
