Thanks, Carlos. I was to angry with Scott (CP-Usa) for explaining the nature
and the sense of Komala/CPofIran to him. What you wrote is perfectkly right.
We (I and my organisation) are not co-thinkers of Komala and CPofIran. We
too have been in contact for several years with the Supporters of UCM abroad
(the ex-maoist groups which founded later the CPofIran) and for some months
with the same CP.
We held an International Conference amongst the groups adhering to the IBRP
and the S-UCM in 1980 in London, which has been useful for clarifying the
differences (mainly about the "periodisation" of the proletarian revolution
they supported). The maoism let in them heavy remainings, from our point of
view.
Anyway is true that "They have

Mauro jr.
In our opinion the CPofIran has not completed its turn from maoism. One of
the central points of their politics is still maoist: the concept of
dominated and dominant countries - which is to tranform the obvious, natural
differentiations amongst the capitalist countries into a "fundamental
contradiction" - and the perspective of a "democratic revolution" as the
necessary forerunner of the proletarian upsurge - which contradicts their
own experiences in the oil area in 1979, and seems to be quite confusionist
(a democratic revolution led by the workers'councils which *** do not build
up the proletarian dictatorship).
Nevertheless, we (IBRP) could call them - at maximum - opportunists (in the
historic sense, without any meaning of insult), but sure they are no
stalinist (always in historical-political sense). That is, they still remain
on this (proletarian) side of the barricade. And for that they suffered the
hardest repression.
We too don't know if they succeded in continuing the radio broadcastings
from Kurdistan, for most of their members in Europe split from the party
loosing the main informations.
Even one of the founding members of the CP, leader of the previous UCM, whom
we had some discussions in Italy too, split three year ago after a political
battle in the CC which we know little about.
If any list-subscribers has some other newer informations about what is
going on in the proletarian milieu (which has nothing to do with Tudeh and
similar stalinists) they would be very appreciated.
Rev. greetings
