Subject: Value ... again

Juan asked John (paraphrase): in what units does one measure changes in
the technical composition of capital?
--------
John answered Juan: "VALUE."
--------
Changes in the value composition of capital (VCC) can be measured in value
terms as can changes in the organic composition of capital (OCC) -- since
the OCC could be viewed as representing the dialectical unity of the TCC
and the VCC.

If I understand John correctly, he is saying that the magnitude of the
TCC can not be calculated directly but only through measuring the OCC
since the OCC could be said to mirror changes in the TCC. Is this correct?

Jerry
