Where, specifically, in "socialist" nations are people starving?

As for your decision to take your "chances with the market any day", that 
may reflect a class and income prejudice. In what capitalist nation do 
the wealthy starve? If you can afford food, you can buy it under a 
capitalist system. If not ....
