With this remark, you put yourself well outside the realm of rational debate. Sure, some Trotskyists are stalinophobes, and fail to see the mote in their own eye. But Trotsky, for all his faults, defended a vision of socialism as being the self-emancipation of the working-class, against the bureaucratic and authoritarian travesty of marxism promulgated by stalinists.
