Subject: Re: Border Controls

End all border controls, let all workers move to wherever they want.
End all discrimination against immigrant workers regardless of their
"legal" status. This is a very simple and just position. It is the
only logical position you can take if you are really for uniting
the whole working class for class struggle. For decades the political
organizations I have been working in (COUSML, MLPUSA, CWV) have
advocated these positions.

Let me tell you though, this is not any easy sell among native born
American workers. I think the position is simple and clear and
obviously just, but the bourgeoisie has planted a huge number of
misconceptions in the minds of most ordinary people.

But we need to keep fighting for this stand. Internationalism is a
key requirement in developing a fighting working class movement.
