This is a code-word for dirty kike. When Stalin was in the process of ostracising Trotsky from the Communist Party, he made sure to use Trotsky's Jewish last name. This was a slimy, degenerate and racist tactic to prejudice Soviet people against his ideas, since antisemitism had a sordid but powerful roots in Russian society.
