Physicist Derek Lovejoy will discuss recent challenges to the
ideas of objectivity and causality, and the role of ideology
in shaping interpretations of current theories of physics and
cosmology.

Derek Lovejoy served as a technical advisor on solar energy
with the United Nations. He is on the editorial board of
_Science and Society_.
