He's a lot better than a number of the self-style Marxists currentlt taking up bandwidth on the list, I'm sorry to say. I miss Cris S., our house libertarian, whose excellent book on Hayek, Marx, and Utopia I am now reading in between property law cases. I fear the dim bulbs and loud voices have driven him away. But I'd rather have Brian than a number of other folks I could name. He brings up plausible points briefly and politely. He doesn't rave and insult you. He listens. It's a discussion, not a shouting match. --Justin On Thu, 15 Feb 1996, boddhisatva wrote: > > Justin, > > Although I think there is a confused validity to much of > libertarianism, that any relevance is found in the emanations from the > immediate exemplar is principally a "1000 monkeys, 1000 typewriters" > phemomenon. > > > > > > > peace > > > > > > > --- from list marxism-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- --- from list marxism-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- ------------------
