It has been an amazingly straight- >forward example of the stereotypical degeneration of "Trotskyism" from >a pseudo-revolutionary verbal exercise into more or less total support >for reaction. > Carlos: No matter how much amount of distortion you use, you cannot change the fact. Carlos not only *does not* support Islamic guerrillas in Algeria, he *opposses* them. My post was clear, but if you dind't understand it, here I go again: 1. Islamic guerrillas in Algeria, as Shiny Shit in Peru, are acting *without* consulting the working class and the oppressed. They operate on the basis of the orders given to them by the fundamentalist clergy (Algeria) and the Shint Shit central committee )Peru) -- namely Guzman. 2. Both the Algerian terrorists and Shiny Shit in Peru resort to the same undiscrminated terrorism against leftists, journalistas and others. Both Shiny Shit and the Algerian fundamentalists kill anyone that opposses them on political grounds. 4. The only differenmce between Shiny Shit and the Algerian fundamentalists is that the latter, at least, can claim certain legitimacy because they won an election and were denied power. Shiny shit has demonstrated no legitimacy at all since its mass support is only in the mind of Godenas, Quispe and a few other lunatics. Now, would you please *answer* the political questions raised by many in the list instead of trying to divert the discussion? C'mon you stalinists, didn't you learn that, by now, you either learn how to discuss politics or you have no chance of convincing anybody/ Please, do not distor other people's positions, do not try tricks ... like threatening me or others in the list. Just discuss the political issues. Life the rotten reformism of Maoism properly exposed by Louis Proyect (who,BTW, is not a Trotskyte nor a Trotskyist, but got you by the horns anyway) We are waiting .... >Those of use who don't gasp in horror at the mention of Mao Zedong >are constantly taken to task on this list. Well, now the worm has turned. >All Trotskyists on this list should be vigorously repudiating Carlos in his >support for *real* terrorism -- the feudal enslavement of all Algerian >women. > >My sectarian hackles are up, here folks.
