Sorry about this, but I forgot to mention Robo-Cop!

By crossing NYPD with Terminator I, it inserts the future into the present.
What a film! Those telly ads at the start (the complete Yorvik series of
artificial hearts - and remember -- we care!) and the demonstration of the
star wars robot at the board meeting! And all in the name of urban renewal!
Ain't America wunnerful!
