Subject: Buchanan and religion


I've been skimming all too many messages, so this may have already come up...

I was surprised recently to learn of Buchanan's Catholicism.  I guess I 
had simply assumed his membership or affiliation with protestant 
fundamentalism.  

A friend of mine suggests that Dole (or whomever) will be able effectively
to cut much support from under Buchanan's campaign simply by (subtly or
amicably, as may be) pointing this out to the Christian Coalition kids. 

Any thoughts?
