An interesting and important book:

* Alejandro Martinez Cuenca _Sandanista Economics in Practice: An 
    Insider's Critical Reflections_, Boston, South End Press, 1992

Cuenca was the Minister of Foreign Trade from 1979 to 1988 and then was 
the Minister of Planning and Budget until April, 1990. A very lengthy and 
useful chronology appears at the end of the book.
