Subject: Market Socialism


Apart from personal regrets about departures,
I would like to draw attention to the fact that 
the last sustained thread I recall both Peter and 
Justin participating in together was on "market socialism".

I regret their departure politically, because 
IMO it is a position that needs to be
represented on this l'st. 

I don't assume this as an issue about worshipping 
markets but rather about finding strategies to 
control them. 

Last month Schweikert's (sp?) book "Against Capitalism"
was available in London only in hardback in an edition
that just felt too expensive. I would be grateful
if anyone could draw the attention of the list
to whenever it gets published in paperback.
