I'll have to stop posting on Australia. But I love Adam's posts.  He may be
banging his head but my hangover from the ugly drunk I got into would not
have permitted such an indulgence.  


But seriously, Blair came out here not to see how to build a Labor party.
that was just part of the hype shit.  His real purpose was to kiss Murdoch's
ass and to reassure him that there was not even the slightest possibility
that a Blair govt would be anti-systemic in any way.


Anyway a touch of the postmodern to conclude.  The area, (West End,
Brisbane) where i do my political work, where me and the anarchists produce
a little broadsheet denouncing the evils of capitalism voted strongly
against the conservatives.  In fact it was almost the only part of this
State where Labor had a swing to it and where progressivists did reasonably
well.  So there- think local!
