Hugh Rodwell, who belongs to the organization that expelled Carlos, is also clear that the issues were socialism versus capitalism. I am trying to confront a general political position at this point. I am not interested in splitting hairs with Carlos. Hugh has the courage of his convictions to simply come out and say that the Sandinistas are to be condemned because they didn't take the Bolshevik road. This is the real debate, not a debate over terminology. --- from list marxism-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- ------------------
