Far more interesting would be information about current political and economic events inside Germany and its satellite countries, particularly in regards to the class struggle. For example, what of the rumors of a new austerity offensive by the Kohl government; what of the growing state budget deficit; or the left trend in the SPD; or relationship to the PDS; overall economic conditions; effects of the French strikes on German/E. European workers (it may have had some effect in Ukraine); and so on. We get precious little about the outside world from the U.S. capitalist media, due to a systematic policy of censorship by their editors. In exchange, I and others on this list can give you direct information about our own locales (in my case, the U.S., esp. California). Look forward to hearing from you. -Brad Mayer --- from list marxism-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- ------------------
