Reluctant as I am to say anything on this thread I will repeat a post that I
think jefferson swallowed.  It concerns a documentary I teach in my media
classes.  It is called First Contact and tells of the experiences of three
Australian brothers who were the first whites to enter an area of Papua New
guinea for in  the thirties.  they shot and plundered and bought and made
themselves rich.  They did however have a camera with them and the footage
is extraordinarily interesting.

Now one part of the film has an old man telling of what it was like when he
and his  people  first met these white men.  they thought of course the
whites were some kind of gods or spirits.

this man tells us that one day a man came running up in excitement and said
"The man from heaven has just excreted".

Everyone flocked to see what the man from heaven had done.  they stood and
looked at it and then one of them said. "Their skin may be white but their
shit smells just like ours".

Now I always tell my students that when they meet the powerful, those whom
they are supposed to fear, worship or grovel before, that they should say to
thmselves "their shit smells just like mine".

So comrades, when I read stuff from the cult of personality, that comrades
like Shawgi and Charlotte have just penned,  I say to myself...
