Adding up a member of various groups who identify themselves as socialist, I will use the figures each group publishes, I hope most are honest, some figures are slightly rounded up: DSA - 15,000 CPUSA - 20,000 SPUSA - 1,000 COC - 2,000 Solidarity - 500 (?) SWP - 500 (?) Who can provide figures for groups like the Peace and Freedom Party, League of Revolutionaries, Labor Militant and fringe groups like RCP, PLP, MIM, etc. Then cross-membership has to be taken into consideration, and also active cadre. Can anyone provide info on what percentage of cadre for groups like the CPUSA or DSA are really all that active?
