    When we arrive at such recherche terms as "stalinoid" or even
"stalinoid historiography" (which one can smack of), I am about too
decide that the disyllable "stalin" is no longer of any political
or intelletual interest, and that it is even ceasing to be verys more
useful as a term of historical study.
