Trotsky's "Literature & Revolution" and "On Literature and Art"
Cliff Slaughter "Marxism, ideology & literature"
Victor Serge "The Writers Conscience" (against Stalinist censorship /
repression)
Fischer "The Necessity of Art"
Lenin "On literature & art" , (collected bits and pieces) and also his
correspondence with Gorky (similar). Not brilliant stuff but you'll need
to see it for your study at some stage.

Chris Pike (ed) "The futurists, the formalists and the marxist critique",

Do you read French ? If so there's a couple of issues of the Cahiers Leon
Trotsky I could suggest. Let me know.
