With 600.000 Fujimori troops plus the economic, logistic and military backing of imperialism, in a country three times the size of France, he thinks 40 guerilla actions a day is sufficient to overthrow a system in a short time. It is sufficient to shake up the country over a period and to prepare the proletariat and the poor in the cities for the insurrectionary period that most certainly will follow. It is sufficient for imperialism and world reaction to get panicky and use all means of combating, repressing and SLANDERING the revolution - Dondero is just a cog in that machinery - whether because his bourgeois mentality makes him a sure fire bet to regurgitate the slime churned out by agents of the ilk of Carlos that comes presented under a "left" seal of approval and sanctified by the clerical reactionaries of AI, or whether he is himself a conscious agent of imperialism. The people' war in Peru is indeed a powerful war, sustained in the face of overwhelming odds and cruel repression, by the indomitable spirit of the masses of the people. The People's War marches indeed forward on to victory. But to expect this victory without the efforts - conscious efforts of the proletariat worldwide in supporting and defending this revolution - no ordinary "revolution" with which imperialism can live in relative peace, since it represents the PROLETARIAN REVOLUTION - and that is intolerable for the bourgeoisie at ALL TIMES - is to renege of PROLETARIAN INTERNATIONALISM and go to sleep in the arms of the class enemy. Worse in the case of Dondero, since his "SNORES" are full of counter-revolutionary pro-imperialist sounds! Adolfo Olaechea --- from list marxism-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
