     Gee, folks, I just woke up from one of those extended
naps that some have been recommending only to find that 
marxism list has become a dinner party!
     Speaking of which, I am wondering if anyone would like
to comment on the recent book by Yi Zhang in which he reports
on what was apparently widespread and forced cannibalism in
Guangxi Province during the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution
in the PRC?  I understand that these events were widely reported
in the USSR at the time, if not elsewhere.  Sure does put a tasty
new perspective on that good old phrase, "Serve the People!!!"
