Subject: Fascists?

Just to jog people's memory:

On Mon, 25 Mar 1996, hariette spierings wrote:

"In this list they constitute a clicque of real fascists who
mumble left-wing terminology to deceive and divert honest people from a
really progressive course!"

In response to this, I said:

"Time to turn up the volume on the discussion of having a moderated list."

Adolfo's claim that a clique of fascists were on the list was the cause.
My response was the effect. Cause preceded effect.

I don't take the charge of fascism lightly. My grandmother's entire
family was from Warsaw and died at the hands of German fascism.
Anybody who puts me on the same moral and political plane as the
Hitlerites has passed the point of no return. People like Hans who
continue to chat pleasantly with Adolfo and ignore this charge are
abdicating political responsibility.
