That was my impression from reading Usenet.  However, it's hard to tell
who are the libertarians and who are the more traditional conservatives.
And, of course, the sympathy some libertarians have for the militias
doesn't mean the militia members themselves are libertarian.  

I admit that my contempt for libertarians and the right makes me unlikely 
to appreciate the subtle differences among them.  My impression is that
the most paranoid and repressive tendencies on the right are effectively
allied with the libertarians, as far as Usenet debates are concerned, in
spite of their considerable philosophical differences.  But that's just
my impression.

As for the Real World, what these ideas could bring about in practice,
I don't know.
