I visualize Neil, the "never too left" list member, as typing his stuff in 
one of those old caverns in the sewers that are so common in New Yorker 
magazine cartoons. You know, the sort of place that "revolutionaries" do 
their plotting. Rats running around in the background--that sort of 
thing. The last thing I'd expect to see from him is attention to style. 
He has trouble enough getting content together.
