MAY FIRST IS THE DAY OF COMBAT AND RE-AFFIRMATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL
PROLETARIAT AND THE PEOPLE'S OF THE WORLD - US IMPERIALISM IS THE DIRE ENEMY
OF THE WORLD'S PEOPLE AND THE INTERNATIONAL PROLETARIAT.  ITS PLOT AGAINST
MAY DAY, SHALL NOT PASS!

Between loyalty to the imperialist state and enforcement of the law of the
bourgeosie, the ruling circles of US imperialism, in their road to develop a
New Fascism, want to bind the masses to their chariot, as well as to
undermine the traditional day of combat of the proletariat and the oppressed
peoples of the US and the world for their class interests andtheir future.
However, no matter how many decrees the imperialist chieftains may
introduce, May First will continue every year to be more and more a glorious
day re-affirmation of the proletariat worldwide in their role as the last
class in history and grave diggers of the bourgeois empire at the world level.

It is very pertinent to underline how the enemies of the proletariat
continue their ideo-political offensive against the proletariat, principally
against its ideology and political programme, revolutionary Marxism, in its
three stages of development, as Marxism, as Marxism-Leninism, and today as
Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, as well as against the proletariat's aim and goal,
socialism and the communist society.

In this context, the true socialist, progressive and revolutionary people
and organisations, should form an international united front to defend
Marxist ideas, revolutionary ideas, the traditions of the class such as
First of May, the proletarian leaders, the glorious history of the Communist
Parties, as well as the superiority historical, political, economical and at
every level of socialism in its great historical experiences of the XX
Century and before.

In order to do this effectively it is necessary to defend the proletarian
revolutionary line, today incarnate in the revolution in Peru, and wherever
else in the world (Philipines and Nepal to quote just two examples)
proletarian leadership is raising the peasantry to carry through the
revolution, democratic, socialist and Cultural Revolution all the way to
communism.

It is necessary to forge more and wider links geared to the reconstitution
of the International on the basis of the most advanced proletarian ideology,
today's Maoism.

But this also means to combat sectarianism, the chapel spirit, and "closed
doorism" and to develop the United Front spirit of garnering around the
proletariat all forces prepared to fight against the class enemy, fascistic
imperialism and the genocidal regimes it spawns all over the world.  

It means to combat against hegemonism, commandism and all evil methods of
revisionists, capitulators and conciliators in order to develop democratic
centralist methods capable of applying the fundamental principles of today's
Marxism in accordance with the concrete reality of each country and each
revolution and develop these concrete applications into specific guiding
thoughts that may serve the proletariat in different parts of the world to
march together in their final confrontation against the tottering rule of
the exploiting classes, principally the imperialist bourgeoisie.

In celebrating May 1st as a day of combat and resistance, a day of struggle
and reaffirmation of the proletariat and its cause, we like to extend our
fervent salutes to all those, throughtout the world, who are today
educating, agitating and mobilising the masses of the people to confront the
bourgeosie and to re-affirm the indeclinable goal of the class at the world
level.
