I always like people who have courage to defend their beliefs and their
democratic rights. So, you may well be right, Gary, in that we could indeed
be friends. The value of criticism and struggle is also that people can in
the clash of their ideas, their political and even military forces, achieve
insights on their opponents that under "peaceful pond" conditions are
impossible.

You see, under "peaceful pond" conditions, everyone can go on pretending to
be what they like, and if no one challeges them to the point that "fur
flies", their "revolutionary or Marxist masks" - that disguising of their
true feelings, of their deep down ideas with slogans or plausible and "nice"
sounding theories, that which we call hypocresy and "two facedness" in
politics, those masks, seems to me, remain firmly in place and you do not
really know who you are dealing with.

Normally, I never trust anybody until I have fought with them and seen how
far they can go, what weapons would they use, what targets would they hit,
etc.

I think this method is invaluable for learning to perceive whether people
have or not an "elevated spirit", and whether or not there is actual
"solidarity of their work and of their efforts". If that turns out to be
so, why excomunicate each other? Given a little more experience, why not
even be friends? Would that not be something socialist? Something Marxist?

In any case, you can always count on me to stand for your democratic rights,
irrespective of your sexual orientation. And that includes your right not to
be victimised in any way for your ideas or your inclinations, as long as you
do not counterpose them to the cause of the revolution of the exploited and
oppressed masses.

PS: See, for example how Mr. Andersenn in Denmark is unable to perceive the
degree of understanding that struggle has brought upon two adversaries.
