Comrades Jay and Tony,

One of you is writing below about "harm to the
masses" from his having erroneously supported
a phoney organizationfor a while. It's good you're 
making self-criticism. But such a thing is not such
a big deal. Most of us for some period or other
have supported phoneys. I certainly have. There's
always the problem of getting to know the truth
and the getting into contact with the phoneys
also, as its positive side, involves acqiring a
certain knowledge that can be put to use later.

The phoneys I was assiciated with, in 1973-74,
I did *not* find out on my own. This came about
only by outside help. It's natural that things
occur in such a fashion. So, again, you IMO
need't be all that critical of yourself or 
yourselves.
