Well, I think that the responses so far have in fact been pretty horrible.
At best chavinistic and peternal in a sense. However your attitude is also a
bit peternal Romi in that you expect someone has a "duty vis-a-vis India"..

Naturally as a revolutionary Internationalist India is included as being a
place where a social revolution is neccesary in order to change things and
in favt importanrt strategically in the sense of it being the third largest
country population wise but also its history of long being a british colony..

Hoever, what is it exactly you want from this list. A letter saying Hurrah
for India. I think that you have a responsibility in all this. Naturally as
a Trotskyist I know that there are groups in India working for a change. In
fact some of them post to this list.

In fact i think even ther Maoists have posted something to this list on India.

However the real problem my friend is yourself! What do you think a program
of revolution in India neans. What do you think about the Nationalist leader
Nehru and so on. Which class, and which party. The National Question. How do
we deal with the system of castes. The peasants and the land question. How
about the Congress party and so on.

So far you attitude is that od an unknowing poor little third worldist
demanding some kind of responsibility of the people on this list that
represent political lines from liberal to reformist to centrist to Stalinist
and various Trotskyist organisations just to name a few.

Much of the politics although centered around Peru or the Labor party in the
United States or the United front has its application in Indian reality
also. So how about getting off your own ass and presenting something to this
list aboutv India in relationship to making a socialist revolution.

The bets wat to judge people is to present something and then see what kind
of political reactions you get.

I think that much of what is presented here can be put into Indian reality
so stop whing and present something here. I will certainly try to give my
views to you on it.

And if your are really interested in India try reading some of trotsky. He
takes up this question and trotskyism in India has a history both yesaterday
and today so stop the bullshit and come with something just a little more
concrete.
