Dear Rolf:

I myself know very little about Maoists except that one reads in the papers
everyday about how "Maoist Guerillas"  killed x number of people or
beheaded or impaled x number of people in certain Eastern and Southern
Indian provinces.

I'm not sure what they mean by Maoist, of course.  Trusting the big paper
accounts and language can be deadly, and I haven't made any attempt to
figure out what is really going on.

All is know for the truth is that people masquerading under the veil of
calling themselves Maoists are doing to people exactly what they purport to
want to do away with.
